The living legend Kumari worshiped as Living Goddess of Nepal has been portrayed in total numbering 5 figures which is considered very auspicious and religious in the Newari community. In this painting the sun and the mood depicts the national symbol of the Nepalese Flag and the Swyambhunath temple. Kathmandu was under a lake then and Swyambhunath temple was the only island.
